Mr. Don LaNeve joined legacy AVI as Chief Operating Officer in 2003. In his continued executive leadership for AVI-SPL, Mr. LaNeve is primarily responsible for the overall daily operations of our organization. He is directly responsible for the Systems Integration division, as well as operations for both Domestic and International Strategic Accounts, Procurement, and Training departments. Additionally, he is responsible for all Facilities and Asset/Logistics.

Mr. LaNeve has a background of over 30 years experience in operations and service. As Vice President of Operations and later as Vice President of Technical Development, he was responsible for both operations and service of mission-critical data systems used for wagering in pari-mutuel environments for Autotote Systems/Scientific Games. He has also served as General Manager & Chief Executive Officer of an international subsidiary within the same organization. In these roles, he was responsible for over 400 field personnel at 47 locations worldwide.

Education and Certifications:

Mr. LaNeve studied electrical engineering and mathematics at West Virginia University. He obtained certification in Total Quality Management (TQM) from the University of Delaware and received his Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) designation from ICIA (International Communications Industry Association) in 2003. He also holds a Captain's license in the US Merchant Marines.
