Event Registration for AVI-SPL University Long Beach

Welcome to registration for the AVI-SPL University Professional Series, unique one day events that provide you the opportunity to experience the latest in audiovisual technology, speak with industry experts, earn professional development credits, and network with your peers in a relaxed environment. These events are absolutely FREE.

The events will include a technology expo featuring the latest products from our manufacturer partners as well as informative seminars running throughout the day. We will provide continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day.

New special guest this year!

Special guest Dr. S. Ann Earon will be presenting two unique seminars at each event: Communications Essentials for VTC and Seven Steps to Successful Videoconferencing.

Dr. Earon, President of Telemanagement Resources International Inc. (TRI), a 28 year old consulting practice specializing in marketing, communications, and training with an emphasis on market research, assessment, design, project management, promotions & training for collaborative conferencing (audio, web, video & telepresence) systems. Ann is the Founding Chairperson of the Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Alliance (IMCCA), the non-profit industry association for conferencing & collaborative communications. She is also the Editor of IT/AV Report. Dr. Earon is a graduate of Colby College, holds a masters degree in Instructional Technology and Educational Administration from Northeastern University, and a Ph.D. from Boston College with majors in business, speech & communications, and education.
