Design and Installation

Challenge:

Our company was tasked with designing and integrating a state-of-the-art audiovisual system in the newly built Sunny Isles Beach Commission Chambers. The design requirements included an easy-to-use system, with the ability to send audio and video to external rooms for overflow.

Solution:

The AV installation of the Commission Chambers included a presentation system with two 61" plasma displays for the audience and five 15" LCD monitors for the dais. The displays receive feeds from multiple sources in the chambers or in the control room, including VCR, DVD, PC or document camera. Two presenter's lecterns are equipped with laptop connections and microphones. Twenty-seven ceiling mounted speakers and two wall mounted speakers provide audio throughout the room. For overflow, a broadcast system allows the same information to be displayed on five public display monitors as well as to two stand-alone conference rooms that double as overflow areas.

Equipment Highlights:

45" and 50" plasma displays; 16 x 16 matrix switchers; 4000 ANSI lumen projectors; DSP processor mixers; 60 x 80 electric screens; wireless control systems; ceiling mounted speakers; multi-hybrid remote control panel; document cameras; console side speakers; video scalers; LCD monitors for dais and rack
