Challenge:

The First United Methodist Church, located in Plano, TX, wanted sound reinforcement to amplify the message and impact of their services. They tasked our team with the design and build of an audio system that would support the sanctuary's pipe organ, orchestral and choir music, and also provide speech reinforcement. The size and architectural design of the sanctuary caused acoustical distortions reflected from the back wall and the overflow area outside the sanctuary needed sound reinforcement.

Solution:

Our teams designed and integrated a vastly improved acoustic and sound reinforcement system for First United Methodist Church. As part of the featured improvements, we installed a large, highly-directive speaker cluster, and sound reinforcement and audio coverage were supplemented by step riser speakers. Improved acoustics and better sound quality enhance the musical performances at the church, and also promote evenly distributed speech throughout the space.
