Harbor Distributing Corporate Headquarters

Challenge:

Harbor Distributing engaged our company to design, furnish and install AV systems in the boardroom of the new corporate headquarters in Anaheim, Calif. The architectural design for the boardroom was sleek and called for the AV to be hidden from view when not in use.

Solution:

Harbor Distributing's executive boardroom was outfitted with ClearOne's XAP-800 audio matrix mixer and XAP-TH2 telephone hybrid technology for audio conferencing. Combined with the power of Biamp's CMA series amplifier, up to 16 units can be linked for greatly expanded conferencing capability.

As part of the video aspect, Christie Digital's LX 33 projector is secured on a ceiling lift. Projection screens and video conferencing equipment were all recessed into the walls, as were AV conferencing microphones into the millwork. The projection system is capable of displaying media from any number of equipment that resides in the room, including a VCR/DVD player, satellite system and video conferencing codec.

There are also two PC connections included with this installation system: one pop-up laptop connection is located directly within the boardroom table; the other is discreetly hidden in the millwork of the boardroom for a permanent computer. Middle Atlantic's satellite system rack mount effectively secures video system components.
