Challenge:

Pepin Distributing Company has been honored as one of the nation's top distribution centers for all Anheuser-Busch products. Accommodating the Pepin Hospitality Center with a sophisticated, versatile AV system was the key to meeting the facility's needs. With events ranging from dynamic concert productions to full-scale company presentations, Pepin sought an integration system with the capability to handle a wide breadth of customizable AV features, allowing for a premiere look and feel for any occasion.

Solution:

Well-suited to accommodate up to 50, the trophy room plays host to board-style meetings, networking events and receptions. Integrating the old with the new, features include a table pop-up for instant connections via a laptop and/or portable video device. The pinewood-finished room is accented by three pool tables, as well as three 50" plasma displays with integrated speakers.

For easy manageability, plasma displays and area lighting are controlled by two wall control touch panels. Monitors receive feed signals various sources within close proximity, including the main hospitality control room. Located just outside of the trophy room, the side corridor is an added bonus to this all-inclusive foyer area. With a single 50" plasma monitor and wall-mounted speakers, the side corridor has the ability to display video feed from within the hospitality area.

The main hospitality room is extremely versatile and includes a performance stage ready to handle a plethora of events, including concerts and company presentations. Audiovisual technology includes vibrant lighting and sound capabilities; and a dynamic projection system that allows for the display of multiple images at the same time, as well as single images blown to poster size.

This "viewer’s paradise" integrates 20 plasma displays, 100" projection screens and high-resolution projectors. With 61" plasma monitors and 22 ceiling speakers, a master AV system is located within the main control room. Programmed for wide-ranging versatility, the monitors can display images from various sources, including laptops, cable television feeds or satellite systems. Plasma displays are controlled by two wall-dockable, color wireless touch panels. Behind the main area's back wall is the central control room, which houses two equipment racks with DVD/VCR combo players. Cable/satellite capabilities transmit to both televisions allowing each to display different channels simultaneously.
